FAMILY FIREWORKS NIGHT ~ Saturday 13th november

This year the Waiau Pa School and Kindergarten will once again be holding their annual Family Fireworks Night. Mark it in your dairy now!
Saturday 13th November at Clarks Beach Yacht Club.

Clarks Beach offers a stunning setting with a unique "on the Water" 
display of Fireworks that will not be seen anywhere else in New Zealand!

Each year people come from far and wide to watch our amazing display!

Waiau Pa School and Kindergarten are now selling naming rights for this
well supported event. With only 100 tickets up for sale $100 secures you a ticket!

The winner will be drawn at Waiau Pa School Calf Club on Friday 15th October.

The winner will receive their name or business name on

PTA Bulletin -June 2010

 

Hi Everyone,

 

Thanks to everyone for supporting our first Scrap Metal collection.  This was a huge success and due to popular demand we will be holding another on 3rd October!

 

Our next big fundraiser is the Waiau Pas Got Talent Night on the 24th July.  This is shaping up to be a great night of entertainment.  Doors and bar open at 6.30pm.  Family tickets are $25, Adult $10, children 5+ $5, children under 5 free.  This year we have a limited number of front row tables at a price of $70 per table of 8.  See the office to pay for your table.  Only front row tables are pre sold, all other tickets can be purchased at the door on the night.

 

Although Calf Club is not held until Friday 15th October children will soon be selecting their animal, project or garden.  Please see the school Calf Club booklet which has the information to help you make a choice. Calf Club is a fun time of the year and is not intended to be at all stressful!  To be a success we rely families support & assistance.  Calf Club brings our rural community together & enables our children to show their achievements.  This year we need your help!  To eliminate the stress, here is a list of how we need your help.

Each family will receive a raffle book to sell & return to the office

 

If each family did a half hour slot fantastic!

We welcome assistance from friends & family.  We ask how many cake boxes you would like to fill with home baking & if you can make fudge for our cake stall.  Boxes will be sent home later.

 

For every 3 items donated per family you get a free raffle ticket.

(as long as they dont expire these can be left at the office from now on)

 

Donations of any full bottles can be left at the office.  Ideas are homemade sauces, dishwashing liquid, bottle of beer or wine, nail polish remover, bleach anything.

 

Any adult or childrens books accepted.  These can be left at the office from now on.

Last Week Term 3  -Late September

All rosters and raffle books and money to be returned  -additional raffle books can be taken to sell over the holidays if wanted

 

A few days before Calf Club

Cake boxes go home for filling with home baking

 

Day before Calf Club 

This is a half day for all students

Need assistance erecting marquees, setting up, helpers in classrooms etc 9am-11.30am

Baking boxes and fudge can be left at school office or in front of Rooms 15 & 16 on the day

Remember your half hour roster & the camera.  Enjoy the day!
