Programme Information
The 3B Challenge is a school-led year-long challenge that will challenge students and help develop skills and task students to achieve set goals and create growth.
From difficult outdoor activities, such as white water rafting and rockin' ropes, to community service tasks and passion projects, participants are challenged to develop a sting of personal skills and push development across the board.
Our students will learn life skills through various outdoor activities and community work that engages students with creativity and critical thinking, collaboration and communication, emotional resilience and leadership, growth mindset, goal setting and planning, entrepreneurship and design thinking, global literacy and wellness and mindfulness.
The 3B Challenge is built around our school's motto of 'Believe, Belong, Become' with tailor made experiences that focus on these tenants.
Believe - Challenge-based activities that encourage students to embrace the spirit of overcoming fears, determination, resilience, and challenging self.
Belong - Students will take part in community-based projects to help them build connection to their community and build teamwork, resilience and understanding of their environment and cultivating personal drive.
Become - Focuses on personal growth, leadership and developing future ready skills, such as navigation, survival skills and problem solving to complete real-world challenges.
Students will chronical their journey from the early stages of goal setting, to developing skills and completing experiences as they work towards these goals and finally their achievements and experiences and how this has helped them grow, using personal reflection.
The 3B Challenge can be broken down into three main components.
1. Passion Project - Exploring a personal interest or passion, fostering creativity and growth, goal-setting and maintaining self-motivation.
2. Community Services - Giving back to the community and developing empathy, social responsibility and a strong sense of citizenship.
3. Outdoor Adventures - Activities that will challenge participants physically and mentally and pushing them out of their comfort zones in a safe and supportive environment.
