Our Uniform

The 2026 Uniform Pre-Orders are now open.
There are a few new items arriving in 2026 and a few items that will be getting phased out.
This is a gradual roll out, over the next 2 years, for the new uniform items.
Students are not expected to have to full new uniform until the start of 2028.

The Sport shirt will also no longer be the "everyday school shirt" from the start of 2028.
Your child must be wearing one of the new 2026 school polos from the start of 2028.
The Sport Shirts will return to only being used for sports trips, physical activity while at school and special events.

Clothing items that are being phased out will have the prefix of 'Legacy' on the order form and prices listed below.
These items will be sold at a reduced cost, until stock is sold out.
Unfortunately we not be restocking these items, so if stock of these items sells out, they will no longer be available for purchase.

School Uniform Policy

Waiau Pā School takes pride in our uniform and the positive image and identity it creates within the community. Our uniform is exclusive to Waiau Pā School as it features the school name, and logo on each item of uniform.

Uniform can be ordered by downloading the form below and emailing this to: exec.officer@waiaupa.school.nz
Or by visiting the school office and completing a form, OR feel free to visit the uniform shop (in the old schoolhouse by the teacher car park) which is open weekly on Fridays from 2:45 - 3.15pm.

Uniforms must be paid in full before they will be distributed.

2026 Senior

Softshell Jacket

A thick black jacket with the schools logo.
Weather and Wind Resistant.
(Only for the Senior Syndicate)

2026 Senior Cap

A black cap with the schools logo.
(Only for the Senior Syndicate)

2026 Junior

Rain Jacket

A black jacket with the schools logo.
Weather and Wind Resistant.
(Only for the Junior Syndicate)

2026 Polo Shirt

Similar to the school sports shirt, but with a collar. A light breathable fabric with the school colours and school logo embroidered on the front.

This shirt will be replacing the separated Jr Gold Shirts and Snr Black Shirts.

2026 Shorts

A new lightweight fabric shorts, but still hardwearing.
Designed to be unisex, so everyone can wear.

These shorts will be replacing our current shorts.

Old Items Being Phased Out

As we progress through the gradual roll-out of the new uniform, these items will still be usable until the end of 2027.
These items have the prefix of Legacy on the order form and prices listed above.
