Our Digital Technology Contract

At Waiau Pā School we invite parents of Year 5-8 students to bring a Chromebook device to school to support learning opportunities. If you choose to do this, you are welcome to make your own Chromebook purchase from a store of your choice. For more information around specifications please phone the school office.  If there are hardware issues, you will need to personally follow this up with the store you purchased from in regards to device warranty.

At Waiau Pā School we believe in equitable learning opportunities and therefore, we will provide a chromebook device to students who are not able to acquire their own, however this school owned device we will remain here at school.

As a school, we do not support devices that run other software such as Windows and Apple.  We ask for Chromebooks only so that the management of our school network, filters, printing and online security is able to streamline the support and management of our ICT specialists.

Please see below for our ICT contract.  If you require further information, please contact the office or Shaun Pilbrow - our IT support person at pilbrow.shaun@waiaupa.school.nz
